Steven Swartz

A veteran of more than 25 years in marketing and mass communication of high technology products and services, Swartz has an outstanding track record of promotional achievement that ranges from accounting software and advanced biotechnology therapies to software for manufacturing enterprises.

Swartz has been in the vanguard of the high technology industry, using high-impact advertising, public relations and direct marketing techniques, assisting clients in sales of over two billion dollars worth of applications packages for mainframe, midrange and personal computers. In addition, he developed innovative and successful communications programs for financial and healthcare accounting and human resource systems, automated testing software, database products, networking systems, and application development tools.

His personal efforts in the international business press introduced the commercial availability of Artificial Intelligence, as well as automated testing software for business applications. He has generated positive, high-impact publicity in the leading US business publications, including The Wall Street Journal, Business Week, Fortune, Forbes, TIME, USA TODAY and many metropolitan dailies, radio and TV outlets. His communications skills have been recognized with more than 30 ICP Promotional Achievement Awards, as well as numerous prizes for achievement in readership and ad recognition. He won the inaugural competition for BEST SOFTWARE ADVERTISING, presented by the ICP/Million Dollar Awards.

He is a published author and editor, having assisted the late Oliver W. Wight in producing several widely read books on MRPII and has decades of experience in all facets of marketing and communications, including direct sales, exhibits, seminars, publishing and Internet-based programs.

He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Northeastern University. He served in the Signal Corps of the United States Army in US and European operations, attaining the rank of Captain and holds a Private Pilot Certificate. He is also a Teaching Assistant at the Harvard Extension division of Harvard University and Instructor in Marketing and Public Relations at Northeastern University School Professional and Continuing Studies.
